492 God is jealous over His people, and His anger is stirred when we choose to serve other masters. If we play the whore with other lovers God will turn us over to our choices and we will suffer cruel oppression.

488 Treacherous and deceitful men are all about. Yet as we look to the Lord He will lead us in the truth. It gives God great pleasure when we look to Him. As we trust God we will abide satisfied.
