3962 We must be ever thankful that we can walk in the light of God. If we turn aside to the ungodly and wicked we also turn from God’s merciful presence. Stay in the attitude of gratitude and be blessed.

3885 Thank God for His blessed, merciful guidance. Even in a wicked age God promises to feed those who look to Him with the finest of wheat. If you don’t keep your heart fixed on God you will be taken away.

3878 Do not give yourself to covetous lust and greed. God will give us what we need as we trust Him. Many are consumed with greed. Be satisfied with what God brings and you will have peace.

3871 God deeply desires His people would learn what it is to be servants unto Him. Many seek recognition and praise, expecting to be served instead of striving to serve God. Self-love is the enemy of God.

3810 Those who accept and learn from their chastisements are well-pleasing to the Lord. Only bastards refuse God’s correcting hand. If we stray from God He will use chastisements to guide us back to Him.

3778 When we regard our duties for the Lord as a drudgery and a pain we offer God less than our best and He is not satisfied. God wants our best, for He gave His best for us. We must give God our all.

455 As we trust in the Lord there is no good He will withhold from us. God takes pleasure in blessing those who believe Him. When we murmur and complain we bring about our own problems.

3713 In this hour God is withdrawing His mercy because He is disgusted with the pride and conceit of this age. We must all come down from the high place of pride and humble ourselves in God’s sight.

426 We are not called to dwell in bitterness but we must dwell in the Lord and partake of His sweet water. God must test and try us so we can come forth as gold and be fountains of sweet water.

3627 Count it a privilege to serve the Living God and seek to please Him. Serve God with gladness and you will be blessed all your days. Beware not to resent, accuse, or begrudge the Lord or He will leave you to yourself.
