3874 God intends we walk in obedience to Him, yet if we grieve Him with whoredoms and iniquities we will reap His judgments. God takes no pleasure in a people full of idolatry and abomination.

472 Many of God’s people imagine they can worship other gods and still be pleasing to God. They live in vain imaginations and fictitious fantasies of who God really is and they will be judged for the same.

3873 We must trust God like little children. Yet when we grow high-minded, insisting on our own way, we cause our own problems. We are called to believe the Lord. Seek to please God, for He is merciful.

471 We serve the God of righteousness and His Word will remain. When men turn to filthy wickedness they shall be destroyed. God’s righteous Word will rule and reign. God can bring down the proud fools.

3872 God is able to keep those who look to Him even in the midst of His wrath. God’s people are not meant to perish with the heathen, yet if they walk far from God they will reap the rewards of their folly.

470 The Living God raises nations up and pulls them down. God is preparing to pull nations down. When God bings nations down no man can raise them up again. God’s anger will be released upon His enemies.

3871 God deeply desires His people would learn what it is to be servants unto Him. Many seek recognition and praise, expecting to be served instead of striving to serve God. Self-love is the enemy of God.

469 The sacrifice God has given is sufficient. Yet when men scorn His sacrifice they blaspheme. Jesus gave all for us and He expects us to give all for Him. Don’t give God any excuses.
