3810 Those who accept and learn from their chastisements are well-pleasing to the Lord. Only bastards refuse God’s correcting hand. If we stray from God He will use chastisements to guide us back to Him.

3809 God is pouring His wrath upon those who tell lies and deceive gullible men in order to build themselves huge kingdoms. God will bring down these deceivers and cause them to be left desolate.

460 Our God moves by signs and wonders, yet because men are so thick and dumb they fail to perceive the many things God performs in their sight. Because men are so dumb and dull they will perish.

3808 When people are deceived by carnality and go away from God, they end in desperation and despair. The way of transgressors is HARD. Hell is full of many who knew God and then departed from Him.

459 Men speak vain words day in and day out. Although men have increased in their words, they still only promote death. Beware the enticing words of men, for they will lead you to death and destruction.

3807 How foolish for men to give themselves to the pursuit of riches which will only perish. Yet many of God’s people pursue carnal treasures in the name of the Lord. In the end they will lose their soul.

458 God desires a Spirit people who hunger and thirst for His righteousness. We must be led by God’s Spirit, not being conformed to this present world. Beware the prison house of religion, for it will kill you.
