432 The Living God reads the hearts of men, looking for those who long to be delivered from the prison of sin. God hears the cries of the lost and reaches down in His mercy. God hears the cry of the heart.

3711 Do not follow the emptiness of pride, for those who follow the same are empty-headed fools. If you refuse the humility way God offers you will bring much suffering and confusion upon yourself.

429 We serve the God of standards. When men imagine God has no standards they are on the brink of Hell. Do not be easily beguiled from the truth. Those who will not keep God’s standards do not love Him.
