428 Do not live in despair or discouragement but look to the Lord and He will cause you to dwell in dominion and victory. Don’t let the wiles of the enemy undermine you but draw from the Lord.

427 Vengeance belongs to the Lord! As we trust Him as our defense He will render vengeance upon our enemies. Yet if we trust in ourselves and act according to the flesh we will end in great trouble.

3676 Beware of the spirits of this age, for they are abomination. Many of God’s people have conformed themselves to this world, waxing bold in shameful wickedness and perversity. Cherish what God gives.

426 We are not called to dwell in bitterness but we must dwell in the Lord and partake of His sweet water. God must test and try us so we can come forth as gold and be fountains of sweet water.

3675 Be thankful for God’s great mercy! Many in this hour are ungrateful wretches, always complaining how God has done them wrong. Do not yield to discontent but thank God for His mercy.

425 We must keep our eyes on the Lord, for then He will give us that which He has prepared for us. Do not doubt but continue in faith believing. If we look back we will fall down and end in despair.
