3658 We mustn’t be so busy with our contrivances that we neglect the power of God. Many try to impress others with their inventions, yet they will lose out with the Lord. Do not trust your abilities more than God.

420 We serve the God of abundance and multiplication. If we sow in obedience we will reap blessings in abundance. If we sow to iniquity and vileness we will reap a harvest of the same.

3657 Be thankful the Living God reigns supreme in dominion power. God has left us His mighty name to ensure us victory. Many of God’s people are overwhelmed because they take their eyes off of Him.

419 God desires we learn the principle of emptying ourselves that we may be full of Him. Do not love your own ways more than the commands of God. Be needy and empty before the Lord and He will fill you.

3656 The Lord will raise up His mighty army, standing valiant for the truth and prevailing in Him. A Spirit people will be victorious, for they will allow God to discipline them. Yet the greedy and lustful will fail.

418 God intends us to know He is the resurrection and the life. So often His people won’t come into the power of His resurrected life, being left isolated and empty in stagnation and death.

3655 God will lead us in the paths of righteousness as we look to Him. Yet if we have eyes full of adultery for the world we will be taken away from the Lord and into destruction. Do not cave in to the lies of the liar.

417 Beware the leaven of pride, for we live in a proud generation. Many hide behind walls of pride, bristling like dogs when the Word of truth comes to them. Pride is an abomination to the Lord.
