3618 God never intends us to be willful and stubborn but to be yielded to His plans. We live in a stubborn, hardheaded age where many are separated from God because of rebellion. Those who oppose God will have no peace.

404 In this generation many think they can make plans for the Lord and dictate to him and he must follow. Yet they are arrogant and puffed up in their proud imaginations. We must follow the Lord wherever He leads.

3617 We must look to God and trust in Him, not offering excuses. In this rebellious age so many make excuses for their disobedience, thinking God will accept it. God will give us all we need to live for Him.

403 God’s people keep themselves down in a place of lack, then they blame and accuse the Lord. If you dwell on circumstances you will end trapped in despair. Trust God, for He is not limited.

3616 In this wicked age many have been turned over to a reprobate mind because they oppose the living God. Perverse and wicked thinking fill them all day long. These wayward fools will be destroyed.

402 God’s people must forgive, for He forgave us. A major principle of God’s Kingdom is forgiveness. When we forgive we will also be forgiven. God takes pleasure in forgiving His people.

3615 Don’t think more highly of yourselves but realize you are needy of God. In these times men are looking to novices to rule them and they will be destroyed by the same. Me must let God train us by His Spirit.

401 God desires a sober people who will hearken to his commands. Yet because God’s people are drunk on themselves and the world they are an abomination to Him. Stay sober and God will strengthen you.
