3566 Do not despise the correction and chastisement God sends in your life. If we pay heed to the Lord’s correction we will be guided in the way of truth. Many rebel against correction and turn away from God.

384 Our God is omnipresent and desires to deliver His people. Yet in this age God’s people are stubborn, daily vexed by demons. God will raise up a revolutionary band who will declare His great delivering power.

3565 Do not throw away the great salvation which the Lord has given us. We must cherish it for the great mercy it is. Focus on the Living God in this wicked age and you will be blessed. Do not return to bondage.

383 We serve the God of light and we must walk in that light. So many walk in darkness yet claim to belong to the Lord. When you come into the light of God your sins will be revealed. Let God judge your sins.

3564 We must not be consumed with longing for the things of this world. We must not be so earthly minded that we are no use to God. Pursuing carnal riches will cause you to lose your life in the Lord.

382 There is endless power found in God’s name. Yet we must walk by His principles and standards to come into that power. In this hour so many are rebellious. The power they generate comes from demons.

3563 Many in this wicked age offer false security which will end in delusion. These liars are sent by the enemy to destroy. Many embrace these deceivers because they love to hear lies instead of the truth.

381 The Living God desires to live in the midst of His people. Yet when His people refuse to walk in His ways and His standards, boasting about how great they are, why should He dwell with them?

3562 Be thankful that you are able to repent and turn from evil. Trouble comes when we grow arrogant, self-righteous, and puffed up in pride. Let us bow low and seek mercy from the Living God who truly loves us.

380 When men are headstrong against God’s will they take themselves into the pit. God can humble the proud in an instant. When we bow before God in humility there is nothing God will withhold from us.

3561 God desires that His people would pay heed to Him and walk uprightly. God desires a people who will walk in His ways. So often God’s people follow the ways of the heathen and end apart from Him.

379 Whatsoever God provides is sufficient. Yet because God’s people complain even that which He provides is never enough. When we are grateful God will increase us and we will always have enough.

3560 Continue as a steadfast people and do not be weary of well-doing, for the Lord desires to strengthen us in His purposes. In this perverse generation do not yield to wickedness or you will be overwhelmed.

378 The Living God has made men upright yet they have made many inventions. Their inventions are cruelty and abomination in God’s sight. Even though they use God’s name, He does not approve.

3559 Do not be stubborn against the Lord, picking up the rebellious ways of this wicked generation that are filled with darkness, but be filled with the presence of our God and seek to please Him.

377 Because God’s people have made a god of their own imaginations the Living God has departed and left them to their false god. When men try to re-image God He leaves them to their folly
