341 When we concentrate ourselves on God then He will concentrate on us. Do not center on this world or that not of God’s Kingdom. Many claiming to be God’s people will be ashamed for they have not looked to Him.

3442 God never wants us captive to oppressors. Yet if we act as fools, refusing His instruction, we will end in chains of cruel oppression. Yield to God and He will direct your steps. Your own way will end in destruction.

340 God desires His people know what it is to suffer long, for He suffers long with them. Yet in this hour men are impatient and impudent, vile and corrupt towards each other. No one wants to bear the burdens of their brethren.

3441 God never intends we partake of spiritual adultery against Him. Walk uprightly according to God’s standards. We cannot serve more than one Master. Seek to please God and Him alone. Do not play the whore on God.

339 We live in times when many wander in circles of confusion and madness because they refuse to walk in the Lord’s way. Because they stubbornly insist on their own way they are given over to continual confusion.

3440 God never wants us to walk in the drunkenness of Babylon and its vile corruption. We must stay sober and walk in clarity and light. God delights in a people who keep their vision upon Him.

338 We live in a careless generation when many act like fools, living only for the moment, not considering the future. God offers us the provision to walk in victory over sin, yet so many foolishly cast this gift away.

3439 God desires we trust Him. Yet in this wicked generation so many look to the world and trust in vanity, yielding to an evil heart of unbelief and accusation towards the Lord. Trust God in faith believing and see that He is able.

337 When men have their confidence in God they build on the Rock. When men put their trust in the systems of men they build on sand. When storms come they will be washed away. Learn to trust God, for His way is best.
