3250 If anyone truly desires God they will continue to choose Him and walk in His way. There will be no justification for rejecting God’s way and walking in your own willfulness. If you turn from God you will be destroyed.

256 God desires His people would know the energy that is found in Him. The Living God is endless energy! Yet because God’s people look to the world and the help of man they lack the divine energy God has for them.

3249 God truly desires a people who desire Him. Yet so many will contend with Him and fight against the truth instead of fighting those forces that take them away from God. If you love God you will obey Him.

253 God desires His people exercise moderation in all things. Yet because many pay no heed to God’s laws they are given to wine bibbing, gluttony, and excesses of all kinds. They suffer because they refuse moderation.
