3178 When you see those claiming to be God’s people, yet they continue in their sins, know they are fools who have been deceived by demons and are following a god of their own imagination who allows sin.

212 Many of God’s people look at His as the "Sunday God." They do what they want all week, then when Sunday comes they put on a pious or joyful mask for a couple hours in order to please their "Sunday God."

3177 God is well-able to provide for those who serve Him. Do not live in the fear and worry that grips the heathen. Even in times of high costs and destitution God will make a way. Our God can do the impossible.

210 God is endless and He desires we know Him in His endlessness and strength. When we partake of God we are made strong. Many are weak and feeble because they do not look to God but to the world.

209 Let us eat the humility bread God gives us, for in that does His life abound. We live in a proud generation when men strut and boast as to their own worth. Eat the humility bread and God will give us life.

207 God desires His people would believe Him, for if we believe we shall see Him. Many say they are God’s people yet they don’t believe Him. They believe circumstance, situation, and the wicked one instead.

203 We serve the God of all generations. The gods of men pass away with the generations. There is none that can make the claim that they are the God unto all generations. The Living God remains.
