3158 We are living in times of gross darkness because men have departed from God. Many thought they wanted darkness and sin so God is giving it to them. Sin is rampant in the land and is destroying many.

200 God desires those who walk in obedience, for there is no good thing God will withhold from them. The wicked one works hard to lead us into disobedience, for he knows the blessedness of obedience.

199 God desires a people who desire Him. Many use God’s name, yet do not desire Him. They desire Sodom, they desire Egypt, they desire vileness, pollutedness, worldliness, but they do not desire God.

3156 Be ever thankful to the Living God, for He will cause us to come forth in victory. In every circumstance God is well-able. Do not be as the foolish who turn to carnality in times of trial and tribulation.

198 God desires we know Him as the Living God. Do not think of God like a dead stone or inanimate stick, but know Him as He truly is. There are many ways God reveals Himself to those who look for Him.

3155 Thank God He will lead us in the way of life, for there are many seducing spirits in this hour who lead astray. God will give wisdom to those who seek Him. It is foolishness to become entangled with the world.

197 God desires that we follow Him in humility and truth. The leaven of the Pharisees has gone wild in this generation. Men strain at gnats and swallow camels, refusing to do deeds of compassion.

3154 God is disgusted with a perverted, wicked generation that is full of idolatry, adultery, and abomination. In these times God’s people have lost all integrity and have turned aside to the abominable ways of the heathen.

196 Because of God’s omnipresence He knows the situation of every man. Some imagine their deeds are hid from God, Yet no man can hide his sins from God. Therefore it is imperative that we repent.

3153 Stop giving place to the devil and all his lies in your life. When you act out his suggestions you open the door to the enemy and will be taken away from God. Walk in the light God gives with praise and thanksgiving.

195 We serve the God of impossibilities. When God brought His people across the Red Sea it was not by man's expertise or intelligence, but by God’s power. God will make a way of escape even in the face of impossibilities.

3152 If men would believe in God and walk in His truth, God will guide and keep them. Yet so many believe in themselves and are taken away from God. God is not pleased when men exalt themselves all the while using His name.

194 Our God is omnipresent, dwelling in the midst of His people. God desires we live in obedience so He can dwell with us continually. Do not turn Him away through our sinfulness, for it gives Him pleasure to inhabit His people.

3151 God gives us words of correction and instruction that we can walk in obedience with Him. Only fools reject correction and instruction, finally ending in Hell. Beware following the counsel of your own heart.

193 God has called His people to be a covenant people with Him. Yet in this generation many have turned aside and made covenants with evil practices and evil messengers. Because of this they and their children are cursed.

3150 How stupid and foolish are those who claim to be God’s people yet commit abomination, seeking to cover their sins. When you’re drunk on pride you won’t see your sin. Humble yourself and walk with God.

192 God never calls His people to walk in fear. Yet many are fearful on every hand, being full of fear, doubt, and unbelief, for they listen to infectious messengers of fear instead of seeking God’s counsel.

3149 God never calls us to religious confusion. Many take that which comes of man and mingle it with what comes from God. The result is religious confusion. We must not mix God’s truth with anything else.

191 God brings the living bread to all who come unto Him. We live in times when many have eaten of the dead bread of men's theologies and theories about God. They are very religious and very dead.

190 God is head over nations. When His people fear nations they become a grief to Him, for He is higher than any nation and can bring them down as He pleases. Do not fear nations but fear God.

3147 We are meant to give the praise, honor, and glory to God and Him alone. Many fools in this hour take God’s glory to themselves, and go to Hell in the end. If you steal God’s glory you will be cursed.

189 God truly has compassion on the poor. Yet many abuse the concept of being poor. Many claim to be poor that are rich and increased in this world's goods. They wallow and complain all day long.
