3106 Do not murmur and complain against God in your thoughts or words. If we practice the attitude of gratitude we will walk in the way of life. Murmuring and complaining will estrange you from God and lead to death.

172 God desires those who are true to Him in a pure commitments. In these times men and women are adulterous and commit multitudes of whoredoms. God searches the earth for those who will remain true to Him.

3105 Fools are afflicted because of their own pride and headstrong opposition against God. God never desires that His people act as fools but humble themselves and heed His instructions.

171 God is not mocked. He shall pull down and reveal. We must follow God’s Spirit, for the Spirit that leads the offensive into war. God shall rescue His precious ones who are in captivity, for He hears their cries.

3104 We live in times when men are full of arrogance and conceited pride against God. When men walk separated from God in their pride they bring God’s wrath upon themselves and end in destruction.

170 When we look to God He is able to keep and protect us. Many dangers swirl about, but if we run into God we will be kept. Many are devoured because they do not seek God but they trust the gods of the heathen.
