3590 God never calls us to get involved in the politics of this world, for it ends in confusion and madness. We are not of this world. If we become entangled in the political affairs of this world we will stray far from God.

396 In this age of vipers, hypocrites, and mockers many boast how they can command God. These are liars and deceivers, full of hot air, for God does not obey unfaithful men. Unclean men will not command Him.

3589 God has never called His people to walk in the way of the damned but to walk according to His standards. If we turn from God and play the harlot with forbidden things we become His enemy. Stay anchored in God.

3588 Why not be ever thankful that you can serve the Living God and be brought forth in His mercy and truth? We must serve God with gratitude, never begrudging or complaining. Idolatry grieves God.

394 God never called His people to walk in the standard of Eli. He has called us to walk in the standard of His truth, holiness and light. Yet in this generation many have closed their eyes to sin and abominable practices.

3587 God never calls us to bow down and worship the idols of the heathen. When God’s people turn from Him and worship idols they are a shame to Him. Follow the living God and seek to please Him.

393 God claims for His own those who fear Him. Until a man fears God he is not truly converted. Some may have the knowledge of God’s name yet know Him not, for they do not fear Him.

3574 It is a grievous thing to reject the call of God. For if you choose against God you are a fool heading to destruction. When man chose against God he became His enemy. Those who reject God’s call will be tormented.

392 Many among God’s people are thieves, stealing from the Lord all day long. Instead of answering the call of God they refuse and expend themselves in lustful desires. If you serve yourself you steal from God.

3573 Be alert and on guard in the Spirit, for the waves of the sea of iniquity are sweeping the earth and devouring many. As we live by God’s righteous standards we will be kept and brought forth in safety

391 God desires that His people would stand in Him. Instead so many stand in the counsel of the ungodly, wicked and perverse. They imagine they are standing in God but they are deceived.

3572 Seek to abide in the way of the Lord, staying in constant communication with Him. In these twisted, wicked times many claiming to be God’s people are chasing after the gods of the heathen and will be damned.

3571 God takes great joy when His people walk uprightly with Him. In this wicked generation if you keep your focus on God He will keep you–even in the midst of the judgements He is bringing forth.
